Why do faces change in my Chipmunks Dance AI video, and how do I fix it?

Faces change in a Chipmunks Dance AI video mostly during the fast spins and position swaps: the model briefly loses track of who is who when a face turns away or blurs. The fix is in the photos: one person per photo, face front and sharp, and clearly different hair or outfit colours for each dancer. A higher-quality model helps on close-ups. ChipmunksDanceAI.app refunds failed videos automatically, from 56 credits a video.

Common problems and fixes

Most problems trace back to one of six causes. Find your symptom in the left column; the fix column says what to change before you try again. A retry with the same photos costs credits again, so change the photo or the setting first.

ProblemLikely causeFix
A face changes during a spinFace turned away or motion blur for a few framesUse a sharp, front-facing photo with the eyes visible; try 720p or Seedance 2.0 Fast or Pro

Group photo or three selfies: which works better?

Three separate photos work better than one group photo. A separate photo gives the model a large face and the full outfit of each dancer, so identities survive the spins and swaps. Faces cropped out of a group photo are small and soft, which is the main reason faces drift. This generator therefore asks for one person per photo; one or two photos also work, and the empty spots get AI friends.

  • One person per photo, facing the camera
  • Eyes visible: no sunglasses, no hair over the face
  • Head to knees if you have it, so the outfit carries over
  • Even light, no strong backlight
  • Different outfit colours for each friend
  • Original file, not a screenshot or a heavily filtered selfie

Which model gives the most stable faces?

Seedance 2.0 Mini is the cheapest and fine for testing a photo. For the close-ups at the end of the routine, Seedance 2.0 Fast or Pro at 720p keeps faces steadier, and Seedance 2.0 Pro and Seedance 2.5 go up to 1080p. Every model follows the same routine and costs the credits shown before you start; failed videos are refunded.

Every example below is the same sunset-court routine with the same sped-up song: three dancers in a row, hops and kicks, spins, trading places, then rushing up to the camera. Your video follows the same moves with your faces and outfits.

Fixing Chipmunks Dance AI videos: questions

Do I pay again if a video fails?

No. A video that fails or is stopped by a safety check refunds its credits automatically. A finished video you want to redo with new photos is a new video and costs credits again.

Why does my friend's face look like mine?

When two photos are similar in lighting, hair and clothing, the model can blend them. Use photos with clearly different outfits, and make sure each photo shows one person only.

Can I fix the dance moves or timing?

The moves and timing come from the original routine and are fixed, so every video lines up with the trend sound. You can change the length (10 or 15 seconds) but not the choreography.

My photo was rejected for its size. What now?

Photos must be 300 to 6000 pixels wide and high and up to 10 MB. Upload the original photo instead of a screenshot, or crop less tightly. No credits are charged for a rejected photo.

Can I use a photo of a child?

No. The generator asks for one adult per photo, and only of people who agreed to be in the video. Never upload someone's photo to make them look bad.
